A little help for anyone else having trouble with this stroller...

My Mom purchased this travel system for me in July 2011. I have no complaints - infant carseats are pretty much the same to me, and the stroller seemed nice.However, I started using the stroller more last summer, and after a while it was a little harder to open/close. A month ago I wasn't able to open or close it at all! Finally I got it open, and it's been stuck open since then. (My husband couldn't get it closed, either, and he's a lot stronger/has bigger hands than I do.) I wrote Graco about it and they said I could pay to have it shipped to them and they would replace it. Since I could buy a new stroller for the cost of shipping it, I decided against that. While researching double strollers, I stumbled across a suggestion to spray WD-40 inside the handle, so I did that. I also went ahead and sprayed inside the manual open/close mechanism on the sides. It opens smoother than it ever has!If you're having trouble with what's supposed to be an incredibly easy one-handed open/close, try some WD-40. It's annoying that you should have to do something like that, but it beats having to buy a new stroller!
