We LOVE our Orbit Baby Stroller, car seat, and I bought the black color to put on the stroller...such a great system. Only one of the market where you can take it the car seat and click it right into the stroller. The convenience is priceless, not to mention the safest car seat on the market.

I ended buying an Orbit Baby system after purchasing a Bugaboo and Bob, which I purchased when I was pregnant. Why the change? Well, my little guy ended up having eczema and ultra sensitive skin so we had to change to an organic car seat and stroller and so we purchased an Orbit Baby system, which we were initially hesitant on because of the price. It has Okeo-Tex certified organic fabric which does not have metal in the dyes of the fabric. It is the only infant car seat that has this type of fabric which does not cause my kiddo hives. What we ended up loving was the ease of the stroller. The stroller handles can be adjusted in two seconds from my settings, I am 5'3", to my husband's who is 6'1". Awesome! Also, as your little one gets bigger and you attach the toddler stroller seat it can go from forward facing to facing you in a pull of two levers in 2 seconds. Awesome! You can recline baby into a sleeping position in two seconds as well! If you are looking for ease, utility and ultra chic rolled into one...this is the stroller for you! We couldn't be happier! Worth every single penny!

We purchased this seat because Orbit claims to use non toxic materials, unfortunately the seat received HIGH toxicity ratings on healthystuff.org including high levels of bromine and lead in the clip and sunshade.Shame on this company for being so misleading. It turns out we would have been better off getting a chicco keyfit as far as toxicity ratings were concerned. Unfortunately the Orbit hadn't been tested when we purchased the seat... so we had only the company's info to go by.On top of that Our little girl hates the seat because the sides are so high and she can't see out.It is also impossible to install in any car with a soft bench seat, such as a van or jeep without LATCH. It is IMPOSSIBLE to install in any car where the buckle of the belt falls where you are suppose to clip off the seat.Supposedly the seat can be installed without the base. I tried this in 2 vehicles in which the base wouldn't install. It was ridiculous. I could never get it to be tight enough. As I tightened the belt it seamed that the seat was just squishing in. I gave up because I felt like I was going to break the seat. Also if I had somehow been successful at getting the thing tight enough I would have somehow had to get my baby into the seat behind the seat belt strap that went right across where her face would have been.The seat is fairly easy to install in vehicles with LATCH system, but still it usually takes 3 tries and dinged up knuckles, plus a lot of strength to turn the weird triangular knob.I like the rotating base for getting in and out of the car, but I'm not convinced it is safe... something about it just feels wrong... it's just two little nibs of plastic holding the thing in.The stroller base is heavy and clunky so we never use it. It is hard to fold and unfold. Big pain in the butt.All in all I'm sorry we bought this system. If you are interested in this seat because of its "green" image you should be aware it is just that, an image.Keep looking, there are better things out there.
